In 1926 a successful tile and pottery industry started when an automobile became stuck in clay on Catalina Island. Today, the original Catalina tiles, a reminder of the island's beauty, are in great demand by collectors and command high prices. We are fortunate enough to have found a talented artist who creates hand painted, kiln fired, reproduction tiles exclusively for our store.
