A set of 4 of these tiles creates a beautiful square pattern. Our 6"x 6" tile series uses designs from tiles that were produced on the island from 1927-1936 by the Catalina Clay Products Company. Many original pieces can still be seen on a walk about Avalon.
Our artist is a native Californian with longstanding ties to the island. She hand paints and then kiln fires Italian quarry tiles to 1800 degrees . Her work reflects attention to detail and the care that she gives each piece.
Please contact us if you would like to order quantities of tiles for installations without the hard backing (which can also be soaked off).
